Ptototype: The M4 Sherman Dozer was a standard Sherman tank mounted with a hydraulic dozer blade developed from a Caterpillar D8 bulldozer. The blade came as a kit so it could be mounted to any Sherman in the field. Originally developed for mine-clearing, the M4 Dozer was used on all fronts for all engineering purposes. The Dozer was prized by combat engineers as it could be operated in combat conditions, immune to most small-arms fire, and its cannon and machine gun could assist in suppressing enemy fire. Before the addition of the Culin Cutter to Shermans, the Dozer was the US Army’s best weapon against the Bocage hedgerows in Normandy in 1944. Clearing roadways was the primary operation of the Dozer but apart from combat operations it was used to clear wooded areas for airfields and base camps in forward areas.

PLEASE NOTE: These models are all handmade and painted which makes every one unique. This means the paint patterns may vary a little and the detail parts like sandbags, turret tracks, antennas, etc. may also be arranged differently. This was also the case in real life. These models are very prototypical.
