The class 183 "Taurus" locomotives are one of the most modern electric locomotives in the world.

Model: This model is very limited and finely detailed with an elaborate graphic design.  The 175 year anniversary design was created by well known artist "Gudrun Geiblinger".   Ms. Geiblinger designed many famous locomotives for instance he created the Composer Joseph Haydn locomotive, Mozart locomotive, Themen locomotive and the Austrian 50 year army anniversary locomotive.  The historically-inspired design of the "175 year anniversary locomotive" represents the famous German Adler which was the first train to run in Germany from Nürnberg to Fürth in 1835.  The Adler was built by Robert Stephenson in England.  The graphics used in the design are parts of the Adler and components from other early built locomotives.  Model also features 5 pole can motor with flywheels, 8-pin DCC interface, 3 LED headlights and two red LED indicator lights that change with direction of travel.  This model would make a great addition to any collection.
