Prototype: The Sd.Kfz. 2 or Kettenkrad (tracked motorcycle) was a unique light off-road utility vehicle produced for the Wehrmacht beginning in 1939. It was originally designed as a small artillery tractor that could be carried aboard a Junkers Ju 52 transport aircraft for use with air-landing (Luftlände) troops. It was powered by 36 hp engine and was steered like a motorcycle; it could be driven without the front wheel as turning hard in either direction would stop the tracks on that respective side. A small specifically designed trailer could be pulled behind it. The Kettenkrad was used as a reconnaissance vehicle, light artillery and utility tractor, and as an aircraft towing vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: These models are all handmade and painted which makes every one unique. This means the paint patterns may vary a little and the detail parts like sandbags, turret tracks, antennas, etc. may also be arranged differently. This was also the case in real life. These models are very prototypical.
